Test License

A Test License permits the manufacture of a limited quantity of a drug or cosmetic strictly for purposes such as testing, analysis, examination, clinical trials, or exhibition — without holding a regular manufacturing license. This is commonly required by research organizations, new manufacturing units awaiting full approval, and companies developing new formulations.
